Course Description

This qualification reflects the role of real estate professionals who apply knowledge of real estate practice legal agency and compliance requirements, ethical standards and consumer preferences to conduct real estate functions. 

 

This qualification applies to people working in both residential and commercial property, including business broking, and stock and station transactions. 

 

Licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to real estate practices in all states and territories.

Career Outcomes

Real Estate Agent Full Licence 

 

Students need to enrol extra 2 units: CPPREP5006 & CPPREP5010 for obtaining full Real Estate Agent license.

 

Current Promotion: Any student who is enrolled to AFWE CPP41419 will be automatically enrolled to the 2 Units of Competencies for achieving the full lince, unless students choose not to.

Training and Assessment Requirements

The 18 units including 5 core units and 13 elective units are required for the award of the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice.

 

All units have been selected in accordance with the packaging rules and are relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and qualification level.  

 

Students are required to attend 14 hours of training and assessment per week and completed structured self-study of 6 hours per week.  

 

Additional, unsupervised study is expected to be approximately 5 hours a week.

Entry Requirement

Australian Future Wellbeing Education has the following entry requirements: 

 

International students must 

 

  • be at least 18 years of age and have completed 12 or equivalent.

 

  • participate in a course entry interview to determine suitability for the course and student needs have an IELTS* score of 5.5 (test results must be no more than 2 years old).

 

English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following: 

 

  • educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country; or 

 

  • successful completion of an English Placement Test. 

 

*Note that other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can be accepted. Students are required to provide their results so that it can be confirmed they are equivalent to IELTS 5.5.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Learners may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge, and experience or credit transfer, which will reduce the course duration if granted to allow students to complete the course in a shorter time frame.

Materials/equipment Required for the Course

The following facilities, equipment and resources will be used to deliver and assess this qualification:

  • Training rooms, including desks, chairs, whiteboard, and overhead projector.
  • Computers with Microsoft Office and access to the Internet.
  • Learning and assessment materials as outlined in this TAS.

In addition, all students who are undertaking this qualification must have the following resources while in class.

  • A laptop or computer that is installed with Microsoft Office or similar.
Course Completion

Students obtaining a ‘competent’ result for all listed competencies will achieve a Qualification title.

Code achieving ‘not yet competent’ for any Unit of Competency will receive a Statement of Attainment. For those units in which they have demonstrated competency, a certificate showcasing their competency in those units will be provided.
