BSB50120 Diploma of Business (Operations) would apply to individuals with various job titles including executive officers, program consultants and program coordinators. Individuals in these roles may possess substantial experience in a range of settings, but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions.
Conversely, it may also apply to those with little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities.
After achieving the BSB50215 Diploma of Business (Operations), candidates may undertake the BSB60215 Advanced Diploma of Business or a range of other Advanced Diploma qualifications. Job roles and titles vary across different industry sectors.
Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include Executive officer, Business Development Manager, Program Consultant, Program Coordinator.

Domestic and International Student:
- 18 years or over
- Basic computer skills
- Level 3 ACSF
- Basic English Proficiency
- Minimum Year 12 education or equivalent.
This may include High School plus workplace experience
eg: this may be Grade 10 + 2 years’ experience or Grade 11 with 1 year experience
International Students must also meet Student Visa requirements
Each course commence at the beginning of each term or at the midpoint of each term.
This is a competency-based program and assessment is undertaken. This course involves a combination of classroom learning, resource development, practical sessions, research and project work.
Students are required to attend scheduled structured training for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Assessment for this qualification includes assignments and tests.
There is no work placement in this program.

Students must provide their own notebook, writing utensils and a diary.
No additional costs for material and equipment except for on campus printing.
Study and assessment will be in a classroom and simulated work environment. Students will have use of college facilities including training rooms that are equipped with data projectors and screens: access to computers, printers, unlimited internet and library resources.
Students obtaining a ‘competent’ result for all listed competencies will achieve a Qualification title.
Code achieving ‘not yet competent’ for any Unit of Competency will receive a Statement of Attainment for those units that they have demonstrated competency in.
