BSB50120 Diploma of Business (Digital Transformation) would apply to individuals with various job titles including executive officers, program consultants and program coordinators. Individuals in these roles may possess substantial experience in a range of settings, but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions.
Conversely, it may also apply to those with little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities.
After achieving the BSB50215 Diploma of Business (Digital Transformation), candidates may undertake the BSB60215 Advanced Diploma of Business or a range of other Advanced Diploma qualifications. Job roles and titles vary across different industry sectors.
Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include Client Delivery Manager, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) officer, Information Technology (IT) Coordinator, IT Manager, IT Administrator.
BSB50120 Diploma of Business (Digital Transformation)
This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have frontline management accountabilities.
Individuals in these roles carry out moderately complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise that requires business operations skills. They may possess substantial experience in a range of settings but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions.
This is a competency-based program and assessment is undertaken. This course involves a combination of classroom training and assessment, resource development, research and project work.
Five (5) core and seven (7) elective units are required for the award of the BSB50120 Diploma of Business.
The 12 units that must be completed consists of the following:
Units have been selected in accordance with the packaging rules and are relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and qualification level.
Elective units selected are relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.

Students are required to attend scheduled structured training for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Assessment for this qualification includes assignments and tests.
There is no work placement in this program.
The study and assessment will be in a classroom and simulated work environment. Students will have use of college facilities including training rooms that are equipped with data projectors and screens: access to computers, printers, unlimited internet, and library resources.

Students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge, and experience (credit transfer or recognition of prior learning). The granting of course credit may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course.

No additional cost for material/equipment except for on campus printing.
In addition, all students who are undertaking the BSB50120 Diploma of Business must have the following resources while in class.
- A laptop or computer that is installed with Microsoft Office or similar.
Students obtaining a ‘competent’ result for all listed competencies will achieve a Qualification title.
Code achieving ‘not yet competent’ for any Unit of Competency will receive a Statement of Attainment for those units in which they have demonstrated competency.
